The Reverend Kevin James White is a prophetic preacher, passionate leader and eloquent orator engaged in preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ. For over 25 years, Pastor White has served the global Gospel community and for the last 12 years, served as the Pastor and Senior Servant of New Zion Baptist Church of Elizabeth, New Jersey.
As the Senior Servant he has utilized his God-given gifts of administration and stewardship to implement an impeccable administrative infrastructure for New Zion. Pastor White has a shepherd’s heart and under his visionary and innovative leadership has propelled the members of New Zion to a higher level of ministry: spiritually, physically and financially. God has used his leadership as an instrument in the calling of several men and women to the Ministry of the Gospel.
Pastor White has a vast array of accomplishments which include creating Constitution and By-Laws and assisting several churches in bringing infrastructure and stability to their ministries. He is especially committed to evangelism and community service and continues to envision programs to include members of the community, such as Harvest For Christ, Christmas Toy Give-away and an Annual Thanksgiving Food Basket distribution to seniors. Pastor White is a committed community activist who has formed alliances with local community leaders to serve the community of Elizabeth, New Jersey more effectively.
Pastor White founded the Zion Land Summer Camp and Zion Land Academy Child Care Center for the spiritual and intellectual development of our children and under his stellar leadership both entities came to fruition in August and September 2020, respectively. He currently serves as the CEO of Zion Horizon Enterprises, the umbrella organization for both Zion Land Summer Camp and Zion Land Academy Child Care Center. Zion Horizon Enterprises is an established 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
Continuing in servitude, Pastor White currently serves as the Two-term Financial Secretary to the General Baptist Convention of New Jersey, Incorporated, bringing leadership and direction to the finance division, and as the 2nd Vice Moderator of the New Hope Missionary Baptist Association.
Pastor White is a Certified Instructor (Ministerial Ethics and Etiquette) of the Sunday School Publishing Board of the National Baptist Convention USA, Inc., and is currently pursuing his Master of Divinity at New York Theological Seminary.
One of Pastor White’s greatest blessing from God is his wife, the former Dr. Charisse Ballard. He is the proud father of three children: Ketra, David and Deborah and the doting grandfather of a grandson, Khalil.
The Reverend Kevin J. White is an anointed servant of God and is committed to a life and ministry that is pleasing to God!
