​The Reverend Kevin James White is a prophetic preacher and seasoned leader with more than thirty years in ministry. He serves as Pastor and Senior Servant of New Zion Baptist Church in Elizabeth, New Jersey, where his visionary leadership has strengthened the church’s spiritual, administrative, and financial foundation. He also oversees three additional congregations in New Jersey and New York.

 

A committed shepherd and community advocate, Pastor White has established impactful outreach initiatives—including Harvest for Christ, a Christmas Toy Giveaway, and an Annual Thanksgiving Food Basket distribution—and founded Zion Land Summer Camp and Zion Land Academy under Zion Horizon Enterprises, the nonprofit he created to support children’s growth and development.

 

Pastor White is the First Vice President of the General Baptist Convention of New Jersey, Inc., and a mentor to preachers and ministry leaders. He holds a Master of Arts in Transformational Leadership and Administration from New York Theological Seminary and is pursuing a Doctor of Ministry in Prophetic Urban Ministry at New Brunswick Theological Seminary.

 

He is married to Dr. Charisse Ballard and is the proud father of Ketra, David, and Deborah, and grandfather to his beloved grandson, Khalil.
